Through some combination of interests, experiences, and genetics, most people show more capability at some behaviors than others. Helping people identify those capabilities is useful. However, are we limited to those being the only strengths we can possess? Can individuals at a later point in life make conscious decisions that they want to excel at something? Are there additional pathways to developing strengths that go beyond merely eliminating a weakness?
