In this demonstration video, we follow a feedback conversation between two peers, Mike and Kim—both department heads whose teams collaborate to deliver products and product documentation to clients. Mike leads the product development team, while Kim oversees product documentation. They’ve worked together for two years without major issues—until recently.

Kim has learned from her team that delays in decision-making and project planning on Mike’s side are making it difficult to deliver documentation on time. Members of Mike’s team have echoed similar frustrations, noting that they are often excluded from decisions and that critical choices are delayed, impacting deadlines.

Recognizing the need for constructive dialogue, Kim decides to share redirecting feedback with Mike in a way that fosters a positive outcome. This video models the Frame the Conversation step of the FUEL Framework for redirecting feedback, offering a practical example of how to initiate a productive and respectful feedback conversation.

While the video aims to provide a strong example of positive feedback in action, it’s important to note that it is not intended as a perfect model—interpretation and application may vary based on individual perspectives.
